Coach Sloth to Visit Atkins and Keystone Elementaries

I am excited to share that we are going to be hosting Iowa author "Coach Sloth" on February 22. He will visit Atkins in the morning and Keystone in the afternoon. During his visit he will be sharing life experiences, discussing how he developed his characters, and delivering an anti-bullying message.

About Coach Sloth:
Growing up in Dike and Belmond, Iowa, Coach Sloth played all sports, but loved football. He played Cornerback for the Iowa State Cyclones and in 2000, helped lead the Cyclones to their best record and first bowl victory. Coach Sloth has spent 10 seasons coaching arena and college football. He also had the opportunity to be a football player in 5 movies - We Are Marshall, Leatherhead, Touchback, Amazing Spiderman, and The Dark Knight Rises. Coach Sloth has a son and daughter names Tucker and Taylor.

Students will receive a note about the visit and an order form if families would like to purchase books. Order forms are due Friday, Feb. 17. Coach Sloth does not charge for his visit, but he does ask that we promote his visit and any books we order help pay for his travel fees. He will autograph books the students purchase.

You can access the order form by here.
