Newspaper Towers (4B, 4N, 4T)

4th grade students created newspaper towers in a two-part STEAM challenge.
Part 1:
All groups received 1 pound of newspapers, 1 yard of masking tape, and a small stuffed animal. Groups had 10 minutes to create a tower that would support the small stuffed animal.
Part 2:
Groups then had the option to use more masking tape, string and a few other materials to improve their original design. The goal was still to have a tower that would support the small stuffed animal.
If you're in the building this week, stop by and check them out in the display case by the gym.
