Create a STEAM logo Contest
This is a contest for Norway students to create a logo for our STEAM Space/Lab. Here are couple websites that have examples (you cannot copy these, but could do something similar): here (scroll down a little) or here.
Rules:
Here is an example Mrs. Speer came up with using images from iClipart.
Rules:
- All artwork needs to original or be images you have permission to reuse (i.e. images found on iClipart* which we have a license for).
- Students can work individually or in a small group.
- Logo can be either a digital file (i.e. PowerPoint, Google Doc) or on paper (i.e. drawn by hand).
- The logo must include the letters "STEAM" in some way. The letters in STEAM stand for: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics.
- The winner(s) will be chosen by a vote of staff and students. The creator(s) will not be identified on the artwork during the voting.
- All artwork is due March 1. Late entries will not be accepted.
Turn in paper copies to Mrs. Speer or bring to the computer lab. Share digital (Google) files with Mrs. Speer, save them to the shared M: drive, or email them to Mrs. Speer.
Here is an example Mrs. Speer came up with using images from iClipart.
*You can login to iClipart by going to the Grant Wood AEA Online Resources page and selecting iClipart under the heading "Images & Presentations". Our Username is 0609norw and you may contact Mrs. Speer for the password.
